Hey friends – just wanted to share a personal update… Things have been a bit unusual around here. A few headaches actually.
Last week, we had (and are still having!) some website issues. From the look of the home page, you’d think we haven’t published new content in over a week. But that’s not the case at all! We’ve still been publishing daily as usual.

We have been unable to solve this issue. Ugh. But now, that headache seems negligible relative to the “migraine” that hit me this weekend…
We had an unexpected storm at home. Quite literally.
Early yesterday morning, our house flooded.
Yep. It was literally raining in our house. Due to an unforeseen failure of a faulty valve behind the walls, water quickly spread from our third floor down to our second and first floors.
The good news is that we are fine. However it’ll just take some time to sort through and resolve all the issues in the aftermath.

Oh Carrie! I’m so sorry this has happened! Water damage is awful! Our basement flooded in our last house and basically ruined everything in storage and our basement living area. Hopefully the issue is resolved quickly. Praying for you.
