The Good in Every Day

Wednesday Words of Wisdom: 03.21.18

Words of Wisdom

by Julie Weinstein

Each day we have a finite amount of time to work, sleep, play. Oftentimes I find myself saying that there simply aren’t enough hours in the day. And I know I’m not alone in that.

But it’s true…we only have so much time. In a day. In a week. In a month. In a year. In this lifetime.

As we all know by now, life is made up of good and bad moments. It’s made up of the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. So, of course not every single day is going to be a good day.

Heck, there might even be a few days in a row that aren’t so “good.”

Though, I bet if you took a minute to stop and think you could find something good in each of those “not so good” days. Find that good, dwell on it, and be grateful. Feel grateful.

Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.

While you’re in the thick of a bad day, it’s oh so easy to get caught up in the negativity surrounding it and it can become a snowball effect. But make that snowball effect work in your favor!

Even if your day just utterly sucks (for lack of a better word), I can promise there’s at least one thing (though likely more) that is good – even if just a tiny thing.

The key is to find that good in every single day. Whether that means writing down what you’re grateful for in the morning and/or before you go to sleep at night or just taking a minute to stop and find the good and realize it’s not so bad, and it is going to be ok.

Because if you find that good in every day you’re setting yourself up for success in the days that follow. What we think about is what is going to manifest itself in our lives. And soon your mind will automatically know to look for and think about the good, and those “bad days” may not seem so bad anymore.

Look for the good. Because it’s there.

A Few More Things

Also, be sure you don’t miss Carrie and Elle’s matching beach looks. I promise you won’t be able to handle the cuteness of Elle in a swimsuit!

Thanks for stopping by! See you back here tomorrow.
