Rainbow Sangria

With the spring and summer months upon us, our cocktail choices have transitioned from hot toddy’s to sangria! Sangria could be our all time favorite warm weather cocktail.

Though you wouldn’t expect us to just leave it at basic sangria, right?! With our love for color, it should be no surprise that we made rainbow sangria!

Maritere whipped up the most delicious (and colorful!!) sangria recipe, and it’s truly the perfect drink to make all season long. Whether you make it for St. Patrick’s Day this weekend or National Cocktail Day next weekend, this is the drink all your friends will be talking about. So, keep on reading for the easy recipe!

Rainbow Sangria

Instructions

Recipe adapted from Gimme Some Oven

In a pitcher, combine wine, sugar/honey, apple and white grape juice, ginger ale, and stir until combined.

Add fruit to your serving glasses or (separate) pitcher in your desired color order. Then pour the wine over the fruit until the fruit is covered. Refrigerate the drinks for 15 minutes to let the flavors meld or serve immediately.

Top with a splash of ginger ale, if desired.

To make a rainbow of fruit, you will need bite-sized fruit in the following colors.

Red: strawberries, pink lady apples
Orange: clementines / tangerines
Yellow: pineapple
Green: green grapes
Blue / Purple: blueberries
