7 Tips to Create a Colorful Coffee Bar

More coffee, please!

You know how we say “more color, please!” around here. Well, we also say “more coffee, please!”

We need all the caffeine we can take to come up with our colorful creative ideas. And we always take creamer in our coffee. So we were thrilled when International Delight reached out to us to partner together on the launch of their new International Delight OREO® cookie flavored creamer.

Our days don’t begin until coffee is in hand, and we have a feeling many of you agree with that statement! But, truly, there are few things more wonderful than that first sip of java in the morning.

And rather than simply pouring your coffee and moving on with the idea, we like to make a bit more of an indulgent experience, complete with a coffee bar and all the fixings!

Below we’re sharing our tips for setting up a colorful coffee bar to enjoy any day of the week by yourself or with friends.

7 Tips for Setting Up a Colorful Coffee Bar

1. Personalization, please! 

Add a personalized touch with a custom sign. We worked with Kristara to create this one celebrating coffee and friends. It doesn’t have to be too big or over the top. Simply find a small chalkboard, try your hand at some modern calligraphy, and there you have it!

2. Fabulous florals

Fresh flowers are a must. Holly with Flower Vibes designed this beautiful arrangement. We kept the colors soft with a focus on pale shades of pink. We were thrilled with how these turned out!

3. Create with color

Create a color palate. We think pink is the perfect color to wake up to. Really, we think pink is the perfect color no matter the time of day, but it certainly gives us a little extra pep in our steps in the a.m. We decided to work with coordinating shades of pink.

4. Crafting the coffee

You want to make sure you have all the coffee options for your friends to make their perfect cup of Joe. We are absolutely loving the newest International Delight creamer:  International Delight OREO® cookie flavored creamer. It features the flavor of our favorite cookie paired with the sweet and delicious creamer we all know and love. We’ve dunked OREO® cookies into milk for as long as we can remember, and now it’s time to pour that OREO® cookie flavor into our java!

5. Very versatile

Turn an after hours bar cart into an a.m. coffee cart in no time! If you already have a bar cart (or some variation of one) in your home simply swap the alcohol for coffee and you have yourself a coffee cart. And the fact that you can move it around your house makes it that much better so you can take it from your kitchen to living room to bedroom to bathroom in no time flat.

6. Casual celebration

Coffee should be a celebration. Make it a party with balloons like these from Big Ass Balloons and touches of sparkle throughout. Get some pretty mugs and napkins and add some decor from around your home. Like we said, we like to make our morning coffee a bit of an indulgent experience to really start the day on the right foot. There’s no such thing as overdoing it!

7. Delicious donuts

Add donuts and you have coffee and breakfast. Of course you don’t have to get donuts, but we highly recommend pastries of some kind. Get some colorful ones, too, if you want to stick to your palette. More color, please!
