J.Crew Ruffle Sleeve Stripes and Gingham Top

Well, if you’ve been around here for any length of time, you know we love stripes! Who doesn’t love stripes? What’s not to love about stripes? Whether in colorful form or more neutral forms, we are always game for a good striped outfit!

You know what else we are always game for? A holiday! Obviously, we love celebrating official holidays like Christmas, the Fourth of July, and St. Patrick’s Day. Who can forget the Lucky Charms cake after all? But we are also up for a totally made-up holiday, as well. In fact, J.Crew just made up National Stripes Day! That’s right – tomorrow, March 31 has now been dubbed National Stripes Day by J.Crew.

So, stay tuned for a full article on wearing stripes tomorrow. But for today, I wanted to jump start this holiday with a striped outfit…

One of my favorite ways to wear stripes is by mixing them with other patterns. Case in point: this look from two years ago. So, when I discovered this adorable top that did the combining for me, I knew it was a winner! This ruffle-sleeve gingham and stripe top is completely adorable.

Also, as a pregnant woman, I’m loving these elastic-waist, drawstring cargo pants. Even if you’re not expecting, these are a comfy and chic alternative to jeans or pants. They even come in petite and tall sizes, which I really appreciate.
