Sachin & Babi Fringe Dress

My love for husband and wife designing duo Sachin & Babi is no secret. You’ve seen their designs and heard me sing their praises multiple times, most recently with this holiday glam article, as well as here and here. So, when I was in New York City last week, it was a pleasure to meet with Babi and her team in their studio in the garment district of NYC. And I fell in love with this fringe dress from them as well!

In addition to the studio visit, I also took the chance to visit their boutique on Madison Avenue. Now, by nature of what I do with this website, I do most of my shopping online. Shopping online has so many advantages. But during my in-store visit, I was reminded of the main advantage of shopping in person. Nothing can replace the experience of seeing and touching a garment. Especially with this dress, an online image alone doesn’t do it justice!

While you may not be able to visit their NYC store to see this beautiful dress in person yourself, hopefully, you can gain an appreciation for this fabulous fringe frock from these photos. The fit is so flattering. The dress gracefully clings your curves, while the length is modest but balanced by the allure of side slits. The fringe provides such a fun movement, sure to turn some heads. As evidence, I wore this dress out dancing in Las Vegas this week and received so many compliments and inquiries about it. Finally, the craftsmanship is impeccable. It’s not often you can find such a well-made piece at such a reasonable price point.
