Bold and Bright in This Pretty Pink Dress

Written by Julie Weinstein

On Wednesdays we wear pink. Ha, had to! Though, today, it’s most certainly the case. And did you catch Carrie in that beautiful pink lace dress on Monday? Gorgeous, right? Speaking of Monday’s post, I absolutely loved it, didn’t you? So heartfelt and sweet.

Pink during the summer just feels right. Granted, we are pro pink all year round, but especially during the warmer months. It’s a flattering color, it’s bold, it’s bright, and it’s simply a cheerful hue.

The dress Carrie is wearing in these photos is actually a maternity dress (these photos were taken days before her sweet girl was born!) from Ingrid & Isabel, which became one of Carrie’s favorite maternity brands. They offer such fashionable and flattering silhouettes. The line is full of a range of truly great maternity pieces, including such comfortable sweatpants which Carrie has been living in postpartum. The line is available at Nordstrom, Shopbop, Amazon, among other places. And I, personally, love the tulip sleeves on this one. They really add a fun little touch to this shift dress! And it’s no surprise that Carrie styled it up perfectly. From the colorful bag and shoes to the pink earrings and sunglasses, it’s such a great look.

One More Thing

Do you find yourself wearing pink more in the summer than other times of year? What are you currently eyeing in this adored shade? Hope you’re having a great week, and be sure to check back tomorrow morning, as we have a delicious recipe coming your way!
