Designer Stella Jean was born in Rome, Italy and is of Haitian heritage. While those two perspectives might seem very dichotomous, she marries the two aesthetics seamlessly. The creole influence can be seen in her use of bold, ethnic prints and feminine silhouettes, while the Italian background is seen in the impeccable craftsmanship.
