Meet the Designer : Markus Lupfer

While today’s look might not be as colorful as a couple of last week’s looks (examples here and here), it is just as quirky! And around here, as you might have noticed, we like quirky fashion! And nobody does quirky like British designer Markus Lupfer.

Known for his fun approach to fashion, Markus Lupfer imbues designs with charm and wit. He has become known for his elevated, anything-but-basic everyday knitwear embellished with sequins embroidery. In fact, embroidered sequined lips (like those shown here) have become his calling card. But his playful designs run the gambit of themes.

His signature wearable knitwear is bound to bring a smile both to the face of the wearer and to the face of anyone with whom you come in contact! All this quirkiness combined with wearability has earned him a bit of a cult following. Indeed, celebrities such as Beyonce, Katy Perry, Olivia Palermo, and many others have been known to don his fun knits.
