You’ll Want to Make This Drink for New Year’s Eve

By Holly Wade

What says celebrate better than champagne? The answer: PINK champagne!

To celebrate the new year, try combining two party favorites to make a pink champagne float with strawberry ice cream that is worthy of a toast.

Make it a pink party with pink ice cream, such as strawberry or raspberry, and pink champagne or sparkling pink moscato wine. The ice cream intensifies the champagne bubbles and creates a drink that’s reminiscent of childhood root beer floats but WAY better. Sip it or spoon it – it’s delicious even as the ice cream begins to melt into the champagne.

And, spoiler alert, it’s so quick and easy to make!

Instructions

Add 1-2 scoops of ice cream to a champagne glass (I used a couple).

Slowly pour pink champagne over the ice cream.

Serve alone or with garnishes for the glass, such as a strawberry or a sprinkled rim.
