J.Crew Floral Print Dress

Happy Wednesday, friends! Hope your week is going well. Mine has been fine, although I’ve really noticed my body slowing down and needing even more rest now that I’m in the last trimester. It’s frustrating for someone who is used to being active and productive. But my focus right now needs to be on taking care of myself and the baby, so I’m trying to cut myself some slack.

Now, onto today’s look… When recently browsing the new arrivals at J.Crew, this happy floral print jumped off the page at me! Seriously, how can you not smile when looking at this yellow, green, and blue floral print? And the print is available in a plethora of pieces:

Given my almost-eight-months-pregnant current state, I picked the shift dress by process of elimination. Ha! Much to my chagrin, anything with a fitted waist (like the pants or the skirt) is out for me at the moment. So, I got the shift dress and completely love it.

Now, with a loud print, it’s always nice to tone it down or balance it out. So, that’s just what I did with the white denim jacket. Plus, white denim is an instant wardrobe refresher for spring and summer. Consider adding a piece to your wardrobe this spring in the form of a jacket, a skirt, shorts, or jeans.
