How to Give Back by Supporting Brands That are Giving Back
Written by Julie Weinstein
Well, it’s been quite a week here in Houston. It’s hard to put it all into words. Seeing people’s homes completely ripped up – belongings, furniture, memories – is just gut wrenching. We feel truly terrible for what so many of our friends and fellow Houstonians are going through. Our hearts go out to you in the biggest way possible.
On a personal note, all of us on this end are doing ok, thankfully. We are all so extremely grateful and feel so fortunate. However, so many around us are not doing ok.
There are a lot of different ways you can help and give back, and one way is through small businesses. Below we’ve rounded up a list of many of the ones giving 100% of their profits (for a specific item or time period) back to hurricane relief. In such a dark time, it’s really nice to see everyone banding together to do as much as they possibly can to give back to our city and those in need.
