Designer Spotlight : Nannacay

If you’ve been a long time reader of Wear + Where  + Well (thank you!) or even if you’re new around here (welcome!), you likely know by now that we love color. The more color, the happier we are. And when we find a brand that loves color as much as we do and showcases their color in a unique and special way, we immediately fall in love. 

Nannacay’s creator, Marcia Kemp, was inspired by her passion for helping others and her love of travel. When she’s traveling, she spends time getting to know the unique locales of whatever city or town she’s in and learning about the talented artisans. She was so in awe of what they were creating that she wanted to figure out a way to bring it into the fashion world. And, thus, Nannacay was born.

All of Nannacay’s products are handmade by a community of artisans in Peru, and each bag and hat is made with love and the vibrancy of their culture. 

What’s so incredible about Nannacay is their mission to bring together these artisans. The brand is all about sisterhood and coming together to create something beautiful. We absolutely love what they’re doing, and this community they’ve created.

You can find Nannacay items at various retailers, such as Shopbop, Saks Fifth Avenue, Moda Operandi, Revolve, and Net-a-Porter. You’ll see that certain styles are exclusive to particular retailers. The price point is also really great for the quality! From the mini bags to the totes, there are tons of styles and colors out there to choose from.
