A Dress of Lovely Layers and Romantic Ruffles

Written by Julie Weinstein

Happy Monday! We hope you had a great weekend. It was a hot one here in Houston, but now that fall has officially begun, hopefully the temps will start to follow suit. We have a lot of content coming your way this week, so make sure to check back daily. You’ll see we’re slowly transitioning into a fall state of mind in these parts. Truly, we are so excited for it and we hope you are, too.

Anthropologie Meadow Ruffled Dress

This Anthropologie meadow ruffled dress is a perfect transition piece. Between the dark turquoise color and the long sleeves, it makes it very fall friendly, but with the lightweight fabric it works perfectly while the temperatures are still warm. As well, if you pair it with pink accessories like Carrie did here, it brightens up the look, and adds a fun pop of color. Once it does get colder outside, simply add a leather jacket on top and some opaque tights and booties on bottom. It can take you all throughout the season, indeed.

Style tip from Carrie :

As you transition your closet from summer to fall, start by wearing your darker colored pieces and simply add some bright accessories to keep it feeling fresh.
