Hi guys! With 2018 being just a few days away, we thought it would be fun to look at the best of 2017 on our website. Of course, this includes articles and outfits from when our site was Wear + Where + Well, all the way through now on CarrieColbert.com.

We’ve rounded up the best in various categories and we hope you enjoy walking down memory line with us! It was certainly fun pulling everything together.

But first, since Carrie is a numbers gal through and through, let’s look at 2017 by the numbers…

2017 by the Numbers

– 396 blog posts published : that is more than 1 each and every day of the year! Expect even more this coming year.

– 345 Instagram posts : that is almost one each and every day of the year! We plan to do even more in 2018.

– 150 : number of countries represented by you all! Though the bulk of our audience is US-based, we love having you all from all over the world! Thank you for being a part of the More Color, Please movement!

– 81 : the number of walls now chronicled in our Houston Mural Guide

– 14 Houston guides published; expect even more of these in 2018!

– 1 new brand created and 1 custom website launched! We started the process back in May with a team strategy session, and we were thrilled to officially launch on November 14th!

– 1 book published

– 1 wall painted

– 1 online store opened with 20 exclusive colorful products for sale

– 1 new mural guide published – a mini guide to Dallas; We already have big plans in store for mural guides in 2018!

– 1 amazing team! Truly, team work makes the dream work, and we can’t wait for even bigger and better things in 2018!

Top 10 Posts in 2017

1. Houston Mural Guide – far and away, continues to be our most popular article. On a related note, you can expect us to update this about once a quarter (every three months or so), bringing you the most up to date information on Houston’s most colorful murals and walls.

2. Dallas Mini Mural Guide – it’s no surprise that another one of our mural guides was the second most popular article of the year! This is a mini one, but stay tuned, because we have lots more coming your way.

3. Houston Brunch Guide – brunch is our favorite meal (unless you consider happy hour a meal, then that one certainly tops the charts!), so we’re thrilled to see you love learning about the best brunch spots in town.

4. Pregnancy Announcement  – this was a very special post for Carrie, as this is the one where she announced her pregnancy!!! All the heart eyes.

5. Birth Announcement – another very special post, as this is the one where we shared the news that Elle was born!!

6. The Story of Elle’s birth – it’s certainly not shocking that many Elle related posts made this top 10, and this is the one where Carrie shared the story of E’s birth.

7. Houston Coffee Guide – along with brunch, we also love our coffee, so we had fun putting this guide together of the best coffee spots in the city.

8. 24 Best Pool Floats – what’s more fun than a round up of fabulous pool floats?

9. Elle’s Newborn Photos / Story of Elle’s Name – another sentimental and extremely special post all about Elle’s name (and really adorable photos of her, too!).

10. Houston Birthday Cake Guide – this was one of the most fun shoots we’ve ever done because we love a celebration, and each of these cakes certainly called for one!
