Wall Wanderings: Houston Mural Guide
Have you seen our Houston Mural Guide?
If not, check it out!
If so, thank you so much! We’ve been blown away by the tremendous support we’ve received to the guide. Our aim was more than just showcasing pretty photos of the walls themselves. The mural guide is meant to be an evergreen encyclopedia that could be used as a resource by bloggers, photographers, families, fellow art lovers, and everyone! That’s why we included location details, as well as tips for photography, parking, safety, and more.
It brings us such great joy to see you all actively using the guide. And big thanks to you all for sharing it organically with your friends and on Facebook and Pinterest! We appreciate that so very much.
Interview with KHOU
Besides individuals sharing the guide, media outlets have embraced the guide and shared it as well. We were so excited when reporter Stephanie Whitfield of Houston’s CBS affiliate KHOU reached out to us! She expressed interest in learning more about the mural guide, why we put it together, and the Houston street art scene in general.
So, last week, we met in front of one of my favorite Houston murals for an interview. Thrillingly, that interview ended up airing during the 6 pm evening news last week.
If you follow my snapchat (username : wearwherewell), you probably already saw behind the scenes snippets of the interview and the TV segment, but I wanted to share it all with you here.
Here is a link to the article, and here is the segment that aired on the evening news:
Huge thanks to KHOU for the interest and support!

Next Steps
Now, we have a couple questions for you…
- Fellow wall wanderers : Where would you like us to take our wall wanderings next?
- Fellow Houstonians : What other types of Houston guides would you like for us to do?
Finally, thanks again for all your support, fellow wall wanderers!
