Great list! I haven’t tried all of them yet, but I’m a big fan of most of them. Though technically not in Houston, Hey Mikey’s in Galveston and soon to be in Texas City is also worth a mention.

No guide would be complete without mentioning the spectacular Dolce Neve gelateria on North Main. Marco Silvestrini brings authentic gelati to Houston. As good as one would find in Italia. On a recent visit, the options were:
    Coconut raspberry
    Salted caramel
    Whiskey pecan
    Goat cheese with cherries
    Pecan honey
    Tiramisu

    1. You know, I totally agree! I’ve only recently discovered that place. We will update our guide for summer 2018 and definitely include that one!

Super awesome list! I have been to Amy’s, and I actually first experienced Creamistry in Los Angeles. Shortly after I learned that they were opening up in Houston but haven’t visited yet. I checked out Fat Cat a while back and it was really good. Line was out the door.

It’s weird to think that Houston has such a great ice cream market lol, but it really does.
