Caroline Constas Margi Tiered Midi Dress
Hi all. Happy Tuesday! If you liked the off-the-shoulder, ruffled, gingham top featured last week, you’re going to love today’s look! I’m kicking the off-the-shoulder, ruffles, and gingham up one more notch, wearing it in dress form this time.
And, as has been the case recently, we are showing you two ways to wear this dress today. First I dressed it down, then I dressed it up.
Look 1 : Sporty Casual
For a daytime look, I went with a sporty casual look. As you may have noticed, I’m addicted to my Golden Goose sneakers. I pair them with practically everything! To match that sporty casual vibe, I carried this fun Anya Hindmarch sticker clutch. This clutch has been surprisingly versatile. I first bought it and wore it at New York Fashion Week last September. Frankly, I’ve been astonished at how it works with so many outfits!
Look 2 : Dressed Up
For the second look, I dressed the dress up more. Three pieces helped me dress it up: my go-to Aquazzura wild thing sandals, a new Edie Parker acrylic clutch, plus these statement-making Sachin & Babi earrings. I just loved how the rainbow hearts of the clutch echoed the colorful tiers of the dress! By the way, I can’t say it enough: these Aquazzura heels really are some of the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn! And they too work with so many things in my closet. I just love them.
Bonus Look : Dress as a skirt
Finally, for a bonus option, I simply must share how my friend Hallie wore this dress as a skirt! She paired it with a simple white tee. How genius!
