Rag & Bone Plaid Tie-Front Cotton Dress
Hi, y’all! Happy Friday. As I joked on Instagram last night, I don’t often wear black and white, but when I do, I make sure to pose in front of rainbow walls! With that said, I’m excited to share with you this perfect fall transitional look featuring this wonderful Rag & Bone plaid tie front cotton dress.
Unequivocally, I am certain this dress will be a mainstay of my wardrobe as we transition from summer to fall. That’s because it is just so comfortable and functional. The plaid fabric gives it that fall look, while the cotton fabric remains relatively light and breathable, making it practical. The cinched waist is accommodating and flattering, while the dropped shoulders reiterate the laid back nature of the dress.
Plus, I just love how Rag & Bone pieces automatically imbibe you with that downtown cool look. This current collection clearly has a varsity influence. To illustrate, here are a few of my favorite items:
The Finishing Touch: Designer Accessories
If you’ll recall, I mentioned here how Nordstrom is such a great option for designer items. That doesn’t mean you need to buy a fancy designer dress or something uber expensive.
Sometimes, one high-end finishing touch of a designer accessory can be all you need! For instance, a nice pair of sunglasses can automatically elevate an outfit, just as a bag or shoes can. For this look, for illustration purposes, I wore Fendi sunglasses, Stella McCartney slip-on platform sneakers, plus a Chloe bag.
If you’re looking for a special finishing touch for your fall looks, be sure to browse Nordstrom’s selection of designer shoes, designer handbags, and designer accessories.
As I close, please allow me to say sincere thanks to each of you! Finally, have a great weekend.

Nordstrom really seems an institution from that part of the world.
It is a great place to shop. Where are you based?
SO chic! And how amazing are those sneakers?!? Answer: VERY!
Thanks so much, Jenn! I had been hesitant to try the platform sneaker trend, but I must admit – they are really fun.
Love this shirtdress Carrie! Such a chic option for the transitional weather we’re about to get. And Rag & Bone really can do no wrong can they? Their designs are SO wearable!
