This is part one of a two part series of how to style a romper for both day and night…
3 Tips for Wearing a Romper During the Day
The romper trend has been going strong for years now. The look is an easy to wear, versatile option for summer. When styled correctly, this one piece garment can take you seamlessly from day to night.
Here are three tips to keep the look day-time appropriate.
1. Flatten the Feet
For day, pair the romper with a cute pair of flat sandals for both comfort and practicality. Do ensure the flats are on the sophisticated side, so that the look doesn’t become too juvenile in nature.
2. Take the Tote
Save the cute clutch for evening wear. A chic tote will get the job done by day.
3. Abbreviate the Accessories
In the end, for day, you want to make the romper as practical as possible, while still looking chic. Flat footwear, a tote bag, and simple accessories help to achieve this goal.

I centered my look around this Sachin & Babi romper. Not only did I love the color palette and bit of pattern and texture, but I really loved the way the lines of the garment created a flattering silhouette, narrowing the waistline. Besides that, the piece has pockets! Who doesn’t love a look with pockets?
